We are thrilled to present the illustration system created specifically for the Nubank App. From the very beginning, our goal was to develop a set of illustrations that were versatile, aligned with the brand's values, and, above all, intelligent in their scalability.
When faced with this challenge, we chose to work with simple shapes as a starting point. This approach allowed us to create an illustration direction that could be easily replicated in different contexts. Additionally, we optically adjusted each element to ensure a more accessible and enjoyable viewing experience for users.
During the development of the illustrations, we dedicated special attention to conveying emotions through the characters, making their interactions with users more engaging and captivating. We sought to create a genuine and meaningful connection through the expressions and gestures of the characters, ensuring a unique and memorable experience.
Regarding colors, we adopted a flexible approach and updated the existing palette, introducing secondary colors that provide rhythm and dynamism to the compositions. Each color was carefully selected to convey Nubank's values and personality, ensuring a consistent and distinctive visual identity.
The result of this process is a simple yet powerful illustration system. Its scalability and intelligence allow the illustrations to adapt perfectly to different contexts and needs, maintaining the brand's visual identity at every user touchpoint.
